What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, keep them secure, and remember preferences. This policy explains howstateofstick.co (the "Site") uses them.
Service sign-in and hosted payments
The service workspace uses an essential secure session cookie for up to eight hours and a short-lived sign-in handoff cookie for up to ten minutes. These support authentication and prevent sign-in replay; they are not advertising identifiers. Stripe's hosted checkout and onboarding may use their own essential security and fraud-prevention storage under Stripe's privacy practices. Our optional analytics preference does not disable essential sign-in or payment security.
Our approach
We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers. Connected experiences use a 30-minute first-party session by default. Optional repeat-visit analytics is off unless you affirmatively enable it below. This site does not currently load a third-party product-analytics integration.
Technology we use
Service, security, and preference storage
- Form security and sign-in — protected forms and private sessions can use security data and session cookies.
- Checkout — payment providers may use cookies when their checkout loads or is used. Their notices describe their processing.
- Intake drafts — session storage can carry payment information into an intake; local storage can preserve an unfinished draft until submission or browser clearing.
- Preferences — browser storage remembers notice dismissal. An analytics-preference cookie can last up to one year. Dismissing a notice is not consent to optional analytics.
First-party session measurement
Selected connected routes record page and interaction events and use a 30-minute HTTP-only session identifier. This is analytics, separate from authentication and payment security. Session-only measurement is the current default; the buttons below control repeat-visit measurement, not all server logs or session events.
Optional repeat-visit analytics
- A first-party visit identifier may last up to 180 days when you enable repeat-visit analytics.
- Choosing session-only clears our optional visit cookie for subsequent requests. Reload or close other open site tabs after changing your choice. Withdrawing does not itself delete earlier records; contact us about a data request.
Analytics preferences
Session-only measurement is the default. You may optionally allow us to recognize that the same browser returned to another State of Stick, Co. Inc. connected experience. Refusing or withdrawing does not block tags, content, claims, forms, checkout, or authentication.
Third-party services
Retail purchases may use a third-party checkout service, which applies its own cookie practices after you leave our Site. Payment and form-security providers apply their own privacy and cookie terms when their services are used. We do not control third-party cookies on their services.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary storage may cause parts of the Site, including form submission, checkout, intake recovery, or private sign-in, to stop working.
